REC Plant Sale
fill your spring garden with food justice in mind
Each spring you can shop nearly 60 varieties of vegetable, fruit, herb, and flower seedlings through the REC Plant Sale! Our online store opens in February and closes in early April, or as soon as seedlings sell out.
This fundraiser enables us to donate over 10,000 seedlings to Community and School Gardens across Worcester, MA.
The 2024 Plant Sale online ordering window has closed! For those who placed orders, pick up will be on May 17th & May 18th at the REC Office and YouthGROW Farm. You can expect an email coming soon to schedule your pick-up time.
On the Friday, May 17th pick up day there will be a limited number of seedlings for sale day of, as well as native plants from Lady Fern Farm, cut flowers from Flower Crown Farm, and garden accessories, house plants and zero-waste products from Burncoat Center for Arts and Wellness.

That's why we offer a three-tiered sliding scale payment system. When you buy plants at the highest price point, you're supporting your community members to take part in the harvest as well.
Most seedlings are SNAP/HIP eligible!
